Phenix Center

Founded in 2003 in Amman, Jordan, the Phenix Center is an independent, non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing contemporary and emerging challenges in the fields of development, economics, society, and politics. Guided by the principles of human rights, the Center plays a pivotal role in knowledge production, research, advocacy, and capacity building, contributing to the advancement of sustainable development.

  1. Promote independent and sustainable development in Jordan and the Arab region, grounded in human rights principles.
  2. Advance economic justice by influencing policy reforms, protecting social and economic rights, and reducing social and economic disparities.
  3. Support civil society by strengthening the institutional and operational capacities of civil society organizations, while contributing to policy reforms that ensure a more enabling and supportive environment for their work.
